Who voted for this?

• NOT only do school repairs face cuts but there are growing fears that those in work will lose jobs.
No talk yet of bringing the troops back from Germany, occupied since 1945.
Politicians accept that soldiers will continue to be killed in Afghanistan, for at least another six years.
The regime there is corrupt, and girls and women are mistreated by that barbarous regime.
Who voted for war in Iraq and Afghanistan? Money wasted there affects budgets here at home.
We have our own lawless problem, with feral youths roaming the streets at night undeterred by the law.
The “toy police”, known as community support officers, work nine-to-five and are not in control of anything.
Proper police should patrol the streets from dusk to dawn.
The near anarchy of the so-called licensing laws allows late-night drinking and live music to disturb those very workers who need to rest to face the daily struggle.
Stray behind the clubs etcetera of Chalk Farm Road, and you will find that the area is residential.
Children, too, need rest if they are to be alert at school.
The young who crowd such places have plenty of money and care not one jot whether the neighbours are disturbed. Shame on them and the publicans! With that attitude, can we blame the youth?
