Other avenues for the protesters

• MARK Taha (Fly decision, Letters July 2) is entirely wrong in suggesting that it is only pompous politicians, for instance, who find “democracy village” an eyesore and it should therefore be left alone.

Myself and all my friends agree unanimously that it is an eyesore and has been allowed to go on for far too long! There are plenty of other avenues for these protesters to channel their views.
