Medicines understood?

• WITH regard to homeopathy (Letters, July 22), I understand that all “fringe medicine” – including acupuncture, which should be practised with gold and silver needles – acts on the etheric body, which substands the endocrine system of glands (seven in total), and the subsidiary glands (21 in total).

My son recovered from scarlet fever on purely homeopathic treatment many years ago.

This was carried out by an experienced doctor, who also practised allopathy.

I am not sure the esoteric or hidden constitution of man, given out through sequential dispensations, by those who have preceded us in evolution, is understood by modern medical science; or for that matter, the churches.

My own professional status is under-trained architect.
