Classrooms too small
Published: 2 July, 2010
• I WAS told last year by the St Aloysius head that it was to be a state-of-the-art school, but now I know it’s not.
The teaching is second to none.
My son is in year seven and doing very well.
But I would like to know that he doesn’t have to keep coming home early because the school has a leak or because the electricians have work to do.
This is not acceptable.
The new classrooms are too small and some are L-shaped.
That’s no good as the teacher can’t see all the class at the same time.
If any work has to be done on the whiteboard the children won’t be able to see what’s going on.
We need to keep the old building.
If it is knocked down not enough classrooms will be built in its place.
Where will the sixth-formers be put if there isn’t enough room in the new building?
