So cruel to cut hospital

• I FIND it completely unbelievable to read about the plan to downgrade Whittington Hospital and take away its A and E department.
Since moving back to London in 1986, I got to know the Whittington when I became very unwell in 1989. Millions of pounds have been pumped into the hospital for the benefit of doctors, nurses and patients, and it would be cruel to reduce its important services. It should not be allowed to happen.
