• THANK you for the Christmas hampers donated by the New Journal and readers.
Receiving a hamper filled with luxuries that people would not be able to afford themselves has made a real difference. Not only has it meant that they can celebrate Christmas with nice food, but an act of kindness like this really makes people feel that there are people out there who care.
