Thanks to my rescuers

• I WANT to thank PC Paula Casey and PC Gary Doswell of the Heath constabulary for their concern and help on Saturday when I slipped on the ice on Hampstead Heath, falling back on my head.
I have no memory of actually slipping – my first memory was of them arriving and putting me into the ambulance. I very much appreciated how they both stayed with me at the hospital and then went to all the trouble of contacting my friends in Parliament Hill, getting my car keys, moving the car and then returning the keys to me. This kindness went far beyond their duties to the general public and I can only think how lucky we are in Hampstead to have a constabulary that is manned by such caring staff.
