The right Gibson

• WELL done for at least showing the correct model of Gibson Guitar stolen from Mr Marr (Hand it over! The fan who stole Smiths star’s guitar says, ‘I’m sorry’, February 18), which is a lot more than one can say for another Camden newspaper!
But you may be forgiven in not getting it quite right.
You have pictured a Gibson SG Type One Junior “Les Paul” 1960-1961. Johnny Marr’s guitar was/is a 1961-1966 Type One SG Standard with twin Humbuckers and a “side-to-side” Maestro vibrate unit.
Very collectable, and very nice to get it back.
