Let’s stop this mess

• HOW much longer must we endure dog fouling in this area?
There appears no will, nor action to deal with this, as there is also the problem of rubbish in the form of black bags etc, regularly dumped at the side of trees. Once black bags are thrown by the wayside, others seem to regard this area as a convenient dumping ground! Handy isn’t it?
With the fly-tipping, it is almost amusing to find discarded TVs, old washing machines, etc, which suddenly appear from nowhere.
For Peabody residents, dogs are prohibited – if you obey the rules.
Does the Peabody Trust take any action against those who break tenancy conditions?
Some tenants seem actually to be “allowed” to keep dogs. Action against those who do keep dogs is sporadic and inconsistent and time-consuming. Court costs are prohibitive, so why not consider charging costs to the perpetrator, surely this would act as a deterrent to flouting tenancy regulations?
