Hospital communication
Published: 25 February 2010
• OVER the past weeks there has been a multitude of stories locally about the future of healthcare in our borough.
Whether it’s job cuts at the Royal Free, suspended emergency stroke care at the Royal Free, or a merger with the Whittington there has understandably been concern among local residents. I share this concern and am particularly worried about the lack of communication between the Royal Free and the public. Better communication would allow local residents to make their voices heard and to find out what is really going on.
So I have organised a public meeting with the chief executive of the Royal Free, David Sloman.
The event is on Wednesday March 3 at 7.30pm at Pax Lodge, Olave Centre,
12c Lyndhurst Road, NW3 5PQ.
Everybody is welcome to attend and ask questions and find out what lies in store for our area’s healthcare.
