Hellish hordes
Published: 11 February 2010
• ALL of us surely agree about the state of Parliament Hill Fields early in the day and again in the afternoon when the three schools spill out (Letters, February 4).
But we do not want them on our buses, thanks.
I already rise at 5.15am to get to work at 6.30am to avoid the nightmare of the C11 bus, so I can do a day’s work and, again, leave early afternoon to return to Archway before the hellish hordes spew out mid-afternoon.
I have also regularly walked to hampstead from beyond Archway and back again daily as a pensioner in all weathers and all seasons. If I can do this, why cannot the pupils leg the much shorter distance between Parliament Hill Fields and Archway local public transport link?
It would curb their savage behaviour and help make them less fat and waddly.
