Bills facing leaseholders

Published: 18 February 2010

• AS a leaseholder, since 2003 I have been charged £8,000 for refitting windows which did not need to be replaced and am now being asked to pay £500 to have a communal satellite dish fitted.

The council should be looking into anti-social behaviour and continued dog fouling on our street. I would appreciate it if the council took some notice of matters that really concern leaseholders who pay a hefty yearly sum rather then deciding unilaterally to do unnecessary and expensive work.
