Worth an apology?

• I NEARLY choked on my cornflakes when reading Liberal Democrat leader Keith Moffitt’s Forum (The Town Hall honeymoon’s over, December 9).
What seems to be missing from his “analysis” of Labour’s response to the cuts handed to Camden by the Tory-Lib Dem government is any acknowledgment, let alone apology, for his party’s role in the cutting too deep, too fast for deprived communities to cope. A simple “sorry” would have been nice.
He doesn’t recognise that his party’s axe to council’s budgets are forcing us to cut across the board. When he was leader, he cut services out of choice. We have to do it out of necessity.
