Parking say

Published: 17 December, 2010

• RESIDENTS have just a few weeks left to give their input into the biggest review of parking our city has seen for a decade.

A number of the city’s busiest streets and roads now struggle to accommodate the sheer amount of traffic driving through the borough.

We need to review our parking policies to meet the growth in demand and to ensure we can help keep the heart of London moving to best meet the needs of all of our road users.

Simply pick up a  questionnaire, available from all of the council’s libraries and one-stop services, or visit: www.westminster.gov.uk/parkingpolicyreview.

The consultation closes on January 7. After this date a number of specific parking policy options will be worked up and there will then be further consultation. The final recommendations will be taken forward in spring 2011.
