Irony is insufficient

TO publicise Silent Night Upstairs at the Garage (advertisement in Review, November 26) with a bare-breasted, bound and gagged, drugged-up woman with a foot on her neck, albeit a female foot, cannot be an empowering image for young people to relate to, however “post-modernist” and “ironic”.
