Graffiti a work of art

Published: 30th December, 2010

• I THINK that the graffiti on Lulworth block, off Agar Grove, is absolutely wonderful.

I live nearby and can’t believe that so many bah-humbug-type people object to it (That graffiti on Lulworth tower block, Letters December 23).

They could easily have had rude wording, nasty “tags” or a political statement, but the so-called “vandals”   have chosen to put a wonderful Christmas message.

How can it be so objectionable?

I could understand if it were full of offensive obscenities, but it’s not.

It’s beautifully done and should be regarded as a work of art – one that can be seen from Camden Town.

Normally, this type of art would cost a considerable amount to organise and achieve, but the “vandals” have done it for nothing out of the kindness of their hearts.

Seasons greetings to them!

Sorry, but I approve of the graffiti.

Why have it removed?
