That graffiti on Lulworth tower block

• LESTER May is correct in describing the huge graffiti which has recently appeared on the roof of Lulworth, a 17-storey tower block, and which will hopefully be removed after the holidays (Letters, December 16).

The four miscreants whom I confronted at the time should be pursued through legal channels to a prosecution. 

I am told that the slogan first appeared in a movie called Miracle of 34th Street which was a remake of a 1947 movie of the same name, produced in the USA in about 1994. 

Apparently some of the characters in the 1994 version wore exactly the same slogan “Eye BELIEVE!”

I have no doubt that our CCTV system will have clear photographs of the four vandals responsible and that the police will use these to catch them in due course.
