Games plan

• WE would like to thank all of those who came to the first Bloomsbury area action group meeting. 

It was pleasing to see such an excellent turnout wanting to discuss the impact the Olympics will have on Bloomsbury. 

Concerns were raised at the prospect of restricted access to Russell Square and about the need to make sure local businesses benefit. 

We will be working with the representatives of the Olympic Delivery Authority and London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games who attended the meeting to make the games work for all. The next area action group will take place in the new year and we hope many residents will be able to attend this too and take part in shaping the future of Bloomsbury.
