Cutting off our lifeline

Published: 16 December, 2010

• I AM a disabled pensioner attending the most organised and well attended Age Concern Great Croft centre in Cromer Street.

We have been told the horrific news that the council want to close us down. So most of us are to be prisoners in our own homes seeing and doing nothing. This centre is our lifeline to the outside world. Is this how Camden treat the most vulnerable? Just think, they will be old and in need of Age Concern to help them enjoy the last few years of their lives. Come on Camden, think again!
