Cuts to essential services will hit the vulnerable

Published: 30th December, 2010

• THE Public & Commercial Services Union, Revenue & Customs Euston Branch oppose the cuts by the council to funding for community support services including Great Croft Resource Centre, Hillwood Resource Centre, Plot 10 and others who provide essential services for the residents of Camden, services which, if withdrawn, could lead to isolation, a reduction in community cohesion and a heavier reliance on over-stretched voluntary and health care services.

The council should resist these cuts which will hit the vulnerable.
