Protest put on hold

• SHIRLEY Franklin has criticised Lib Dems for not going to a protest outside Whitehall organised by the Defend the Whittington Coalition. 

Lib Dem campaigners took a petition to Downing Street before taking our protests to the Department of Health back in February. 

We are fully prepared to continue to fight to save the Whittington if we need to but the government has not changed its initial position that the closure should be put on hold, so I don’t see the need to protest outside Whitehall unless that changes.
