It’s fairer to stay home

• I SEE the Prime Minister is holidaying in Britain and encouraging others to do the same. 

Good. Better than Blair, who was always abroad with his millionaire cronies.

I am 70 years old and always holidayed in UK, and never regretted it. I hope our two MPs will lead by example and holiday here, and encourage others to do so.

Our councillors should also set a good example. They talk a lot about fairness, but I hear the leader of the council has flown to Australia. That’s not fair to me, as all her money comes from us, the council tax payers. We obviously pay too much if she can afford that.
