High prices of black cabs

• BLACK cabs charge double the amount compared with minicabs.

Sometimes older people may need to use them when coming back from shopping or a visit from the hospital etc.

So why are they so expensive? The cost of keeping a taxi on the road cannot be so much higher than that of keeping a minicab.
