Blow ’em out

• LEAF-blowers: don’t you hate them (New Journal, August 12)? 

Playing tennis last June, a “blower’’ actually came on the courts – not many leaves at that time of the year. He was asked to leave.

I fully support the campaign to get rid of them, but I expect we might have to tolerate them in November and December at the height of the leaf fall.
