Playground politics

Published: 23 April, 2010

• I WOULD be interested to know why the Islington Labour Party thought it was appropriate to stand outside my children’s primary school on Monday afternoon, handing out helium-filled red Labour balloons to pupils as young as three.
This is exploitative marketing – and blatant electioneering – in the extreme. No political party should be taking advantage of our youngest citizens. Please keep politics out of our playgrounds.
