Listening politicians?

THE Federation of Islington Tenants’ Associations is hosting a hustings at Islington town hall at 7pm on April 13.

Confirmation of attendance has now been received from Lib Dem council leader Terry Stacy, councillors Catherine West (Labour) and Katie Dawson (Green Party) and Richard Bunting (Conservatives). Independent candidates are welcome to attend.  

Since the latest government proposal for the financing of the borough is imminent, its possible implementation will certainly affect all residents. 

It is imperative that we are informed as soon as possible with regard to the council’s intentions, as well as the policies of any future council.

Please attend and show candidates that unless they start to listen to us we will exercise the only power we have left – the power of our vote.
