Hospital will look into this

• With reference to the letter (Patients put off with ‘bumped’ appointments, March 25) I was sorry to hear about the difficulty the author has had with appointments at the Royal Free.
We would very much like to look into this issue further.
As the departments in question were not named it would be very useful if the author of the letter were to contact our patient advice and liaison service (PALS) on 020 7472 6445 or email pals@royalfree.nhs.uk
The PALS team provide information, support and advice to help patients, families and carers and they will be able to look into this matter more fully.
The desks referred to were paid for out of charitable funds and have not affected any spending on care for our patients.
