Ewan votes with his feet

• I NOTE that one of Britain’s leading actors has quit residence in Britain for Los Angeles, California.
What was the reason? According to a recent interview he’d had enough of Britain’s invasive and controlling culture.
The final straw was when he was issued a parking ticket by Westminster City Council for parking his motorcycle in a motorcycle parking bay. 
Perhaps Councillor Danny Chalkley would like to comment on this. Perhaps he’d like to give an estimate to the business community of the West End how much the absence of Ewan McGregor (pictured) will cost them.
Cllr Chalkley has stated that the motorcycle parking charging scheme is running at a loss of over £400,000 a year.
Perhaps he can explain the reasoning why this scheme, which is punishing not only commuters but council taxpayers and Westminster businesses as well, is still in operation?
I won’t hold my breath as I await his explanation.
