Costly cuts on the buses
Publsihed: 22 April, 2010
• Tory mayor Boris Johnson took great pride in cutting bus services and hiking the cost of using them in his last budget.
Many people in King’s Cross have told me that the number of buses have substantially reduced, leaving the remaining services uncomfortably packed.
It’s a great shame that our excellent bus service, introduced when Ken Livingstone was mayor, is now facing the impact of Tory cuts.
Mr Johnson’s actions as mayor show us we can’t afford to have the Tories in power nationally or locally.
