Giving credit where it’s due

THE list is mightily impressive – and watching the great and good appear at the Jewish Museum in Camden Town on Tuesday night hammered it home.

Stephen Poliakoff joined Maureen Lipman, Claudia Winkleman, Alan Yentob and David Baddiel to launch the museum’s new exhibition on Tuesday, which celebrates the role Jewish people have played in the entertainment industry. 

And the museum, in Albert Street, has also announced it is due to open its doors on Saturdays – a great decision, allowing more and more visitors who are not Jewish to come and see the delights the institute holds.
