Brill Roof Terrace and Bar owner’s despair over urination
THE owner of a restaurant and bar in King’s Cross described how he “despaired” at a small group of men who were determined to use a nearby side street as a toilet.
Robin Norris, owner of the Brill Roof Terrace and bar, spoke at an Islington Licensing Committee meeting on Monday, where residents had written to object to his establishment being granted a licence to serve alcohol until 11.30pm Sunday to Thursday, and until midnight Friday and Saturday.
Mr Norris, who lives on the premises of Brill bar, said: “A group of men who have been seen hanging about appear to come from a bus shelter nearby. They are certainly not from our premises.”
The licence was granted with various conditions, including last orders for food and refreshments no later than 10.30pm Monday to Sundays.
