PARAMEDICS airlifted a man to hospital after he was stabbed in the street in broad daylight in Kentish Town.
Bystanders rushed to help the 21-year-old victim after he was stabbed in the shoulder and smashed around the head with a bottle in Malden Road at around 6pm on Friday evening.
Police said the victim had a lucky escape and has been discharged from hospital with minor injuries.
The road was cordoned off until Saturday morning while forensics officers conducted a search of the area.
It is understood the victim had been arguing with his attacker in the run up to the incident.
A bloodstained baseball jacket and remnants of bottle glass could be seen in the street.
Police have made no arrests and continue to make enquiries.
A Camden Police spokesman said: “Police can confirm that we were called on Friday March 25 at approximately 6pm to Malden Road to an assault.
“Upon arrival police found a 21-year-old male victim, who had suffered a stab wound to his shoulder and cuts to his face.”
