Butcher Pasool Khan's throat slit by ‘friend’ Fida Utmanzai

A “POPULAR” butcher was killed by a man he befriended.
The Old Bailey heard this week how Pasool Khan, 21, suffered a  horrific death at the hands of fellow Afghan asylum seeker Fida Utmanzai, 20.
The pair lived near each other in Tottenham and Mr Khan, who worked at Anf Butchers at the Nag’s Head market, Holloway Road, was described by everyone as a “model citizen”.
Utmanzai attacked Mr Khan without warning at the defendant’s own flat in March last year, stabbing him through the neck and slitting his throat “for no reason”.
He was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.
In court he admitted to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility and his not guilty plea to murder was accepted.
Judge Richard Hawkins ordered the killer to be detained indefinitely at the North London Clinic in Edmonton under top security.
