THE 130 members of Islington Art Society are holding their 70th anniversary autumn exhibition until next weekend.
The show contains spectacular pieces of glass created by Islington architect Angela Brady, president-elect of the Royal Institute of Architects.
The exhibition was opened on Wednesday by artist Peter Freeth at Hornsey Library in Crouch End.
Most of the paintings, original prints, collages, sculptures, ceramics, glass and photography on show are available for sale. Society members include Islington artist Margaret Thompson, who is exhibiting collaborative works with Massachusetts art teacher Debi Pendell for the first time.
The exhibition runs at the Original and Promenade Galleries on the first floor of the library in Haringey Park from 1-7pm Monday to Friday and noon to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday until November 13.
