Paradise Park wins Green Flag award

HABITUES of Paradise Park in Holloway proudly bear aloft a coveted “Green Flag” awarded by the charity Keep Britain Tidy – to recognise its pristine condition. To win the honour, parks must be welcoming, safe, clean, tidy and well marketed.
Raising the flag is Sarah Ghansi from Paradise Park Children’s Centre with Ghislane Seddiki and her son Ameen, and Gabriella Pricop with her twin boys, Edward and Lucas.
Local councillor Barry Edwards said: “Both staff who maintain the park and the people who use it can give themselves a pat on the back. Although the kids can’t see what all the fuss is about – they just want to play in the sunshine.”
