A CRIME gang who sold luxury stolen cars have been jailed.
At Southwark Crown Court last Thursday, the last two members of a 12-man gang stood before a judge to be sentenced. Paul Riley, 18, from Kentish Town, was given 15 months in prison and Robert Winter, 22, from Holloway, was jailed for two-and-a-half years.
They admitted charges of conspiracy to handle stolen goods and supplying class A drugs.
Gang leader Daniel O’Leary, 43, of Hadley Street, Kentish Town, was earlier jailed for five years for his role in plotting more than 40 burglaries at expensive homes across north-west London.
The court heard how the gang stole BMWs, Audis and Mercedes worth around £500,000 before selling them on the black market.
Two other members of the gang are also from the Camden area: Beau Abououf, 20, of Varndale Road, Camden Town, and Martin Delaney, 49, of Maitland Park, Chalk Farm. Both were sentenced to 15 months.
The gang were caught following an operation by the London Crime Squad.
