BUDDING scientists from Brecknock Primary School have swapped lab coats for video cameras to make a film about the way seeds are dispersed – and have won a prestigious award.
Pupils from class 5T at the school in Cliff Villas beat 160 schools to win Best Biology Film 2010 by Planet SciCast, an organisation that challenges children to make films about science. The students were invited to an award ceremony at London’s Royal Institution where they were presented with an award by TV technology reporter, Marty Jopson.
