Curb smoking
Published: 29 July, 2010
• WE all know that young people are influenced by what they see around them.
It is ridiculous that cigarettes are openly on sale in newsagents and supermarkets, often next to the sweets and crisps by the counter.
The new government has the power to get shops to cover up their displays.
I hope the government can stop children becoming tomorrow’s smokers.

It is ridiculous that you people are still writing this garbage to the local paper. The nanny state lefties are history, please join them.
