THIS is an e-fit image of the man police want to speak to after an elderly woman was conned into letting strangers into her home.
The 67-year-old woman was at her home in John Kennedy Court, Newington Green Road, on June 2 when someone knocked on her door just before 5pm.
A man claiming to be from the water board told her there was a leak in the flat above and asked her to check her kitchen.
As they returned, the victim saw two men coming down her stairs.
On checking upstairs, she found her room had been searched, and someone had rummaged through her furniture.
The first suspect was aged around 30, 5ft 8in tall, with short, fair hair, and was wearing a beige jumper and jeans, a second suspect was in his early 20s, about 5ft 6in tall, slim with black hair and was wearing a light t-shirt and dark cardigan.
