EXPERT gardeners are passing on food-growing tips under a new scheme.
A network of volunteers – known as master gardeners – has been set up under the Edible Islington project, part of Islington Council's community food-growing programme.
Gardener Ann Morris, of Archway Road, Holloway, said: “I love growing my own food and I want to pass this feeling on to others.”
Ms Morris is about to begin a food-growing workshop at St Mary Magdalene Centre, in Liverpool Road, Holloway.
