THE Nuffield “Naughty Boys” bounced away the competition to win a human table football trophy in Paddington, writes Shaima Al-Obaidi.

A giant inflatable table was set up in Sheldon Square on Thursday, and 16  teams battled it out over three days at the tournament organised by Paddington Waterside Partnership.

Nuffield captain Richard Smith said: “The tournament is a brilliant idea and great fun. It really brings Paddington together.”

Chief executive of Paddington Waterside Partnership Kay Buxton said: “The final was evenly matched. I’m pleased that it captured the spirit of the World Cup – it was brilliant.”

Other teams that took part in the tournament were Marks & Spencer, Network Rail, British Transport Police, Cerner Men, Vodafone, Orange and Visa Inc, all of which have offices in the area.
