Stepping up for Live show – Camden School for Girls' dancers filled with ‘Glee!’
Published: 10 June 2010
CAMDEN School for Girls pupils were united in their verdict on an upcoming dance showcase in a rehearsal for the event on Monday: it’s just like American TV show Glee! Step Live, a dance initiative taking place across secondary schools in 13 London boroughs, was compared favourably with the popular tween drama about a group of aspiring high-school underdogs. The 11 to 16-year-olds are taught an array of styles including jazz, capoeira, Bollywood and break dance, as part of the Step Live initiative. They will perform their routines on stage at Sadler’s Wells on July 11.
