An unconventional meeting of goat horn, saxophones, harmonium, viola d’amore and spoken poetry is taking place at LSO St Luke’s in Old Street next Tuesday evening.
The unusual meeting of instruments involves two Norwegian musicans, Karl Seglem (pictured) playing goat horn and saxes and Christian Wallmurod on keyboards, together with versatile viola player Garth Knox, formerly a member of the Arditi Quartet.
The threesome got together after being introduced by Fiona Talkington on her Late Junction radio programme.
Their performance is part of Fiona’s Electica Connexions series in the UBS Soundscapes annual programme featuring the most innovative and experimental sound you’re ever likely to hear in London.
