Highgate Choral Society is singing Bach’s St John Passion at All Hallows’ Church on Savernake Road, Gospel Oak, on Saturday.
Among the soloists will be Samuel Evans (pictured), a terrific baritone who recently moved to Hampstead where his wife grew up.
He’s won plaudits for opera and recital performances in recent years, HCS regulars no doubt remembering his fine singing with the choir in Bach’s St John Passion just over four years ago.
