Now Halloween’s over, the bonfires are out and the fireworks are just damp squibs, it’s just about time to don the Uggs (optional), woolly hats and gloves and make the annual pilgrimage to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland.
It’s not something that usually appears on this page but this year a programme of stellar acts including Dionne Bromfield and Marques Toliver have been lined up to appear at pop-up bar and restaurant The Spiegel Tent – and every performance is free.
The restaurant, named after the 19th-century Belgian travelling ballrooms, launches tomorrow (November 18) with a programme of live singers, cabaret and variety acts and DJs running every day until January 3.
Soul singer Bromfield, who, while known for being Amy Winehouse’s goddaughter, has for some time been recog nised for her talents in her own right, appears on November 23, while contemporary classical violinist Marques Toliver plays on November 28. Trio The La De Dahs, who performed at Down ing Street’s Royal Wed ding Party, are lined up for November 29.
