IT’S not every day you get an opportunity to hear the unusual but delightful combination of cello and harp, blending the richness of the cello with the harp’s versatility.
This Sunday, cellist Rowena Calvert is playing with harpist Eleanor Turner at The Forge in Delancey Street, Camden Town, filling the venue’s weekly Keys and Coffee morning spot.
The duo have been playing together for seven years and have won plaudits for their stylish performances.
Both are established musicians in their own right, both as soloists and as members of chamber music ensembles.
Their programme on Sunday ranges from JS Bach and Béla Bartók through to Glazumov and Piazzolla.
