NORTH London jazz singer Roma Thomas is one of the musical highlights of the eighth Holloway Arts Festival starting on June 24. She’ll be singing at The Hideway in Tufnell Park on June 28. She is very much a classic jazz singer, counting Ella Fitzgerald as one of the key influences on her mellow singing style. She’ll be accompanied by Gabriel Keen on the piano. The Holloway Arts Festival is produced by the Rowan Arts charity group. The programme ranges from adult comedy and a hatters’ workshop to conversations betweenpsychoanalysts and authors.
