Challenge!
Published: 20 May, 2010
• IF, as might be expected, the new council administration decides to press ahead with the existing so-called Decent Homes works programme for its housing stock, the council’s leaseholders will be asked to contribute up to £75,000 each towards the cost of these works.
Often they will receive nothing in turn.
The leaseholders’ forum has so far proved unwilling to challenge the council’s stance, its legality as well as its cost-effectiveness.
In particular it has refused to release contact details for individual leaseholders, without which there cannot be effective collaboration in resisting the council’s policy.
We invite anyone interested in receiving further details about the legality of the council’s work programme to send any further questions and their contact details to: CamdenLeaseholders@hotmail.co.uk

Camden Leaseholders

As Dr. Wright has persistently refused to supply leaseholders with details of other leaseholders in the borough, those incensed at the Council's recent charges for poor quality and overpriced works should supply their contact details by writing to the above email address.
