College loss

Published: 29 April, 2010

• AFTER only three years  a new “state of the art” building and Kilburns’ only adult educational facility, the North West London College, is closing and being “mothballed”.
I am standing as an independent candidate in the Kilburn ward where this 125-year-old traditional college for adults is being closed.
Its closure is due to the failure of the councillors who without “due diligence” and their statutory “duty of care” and without any accountability or transparency, are directly responsible for this loss.
This Friday April 30 at 7pm there is a public meeting to try to save this community asset at the Kingsgate Hall, 107 Kingsgate Road, NW6. Please come to support.
FRANCIS BACON
Kilburn independent council candidate
