A HORSE and carriage will take the body of teenager Jessie Wright to her final resting place.

The teenager’s family have extended an open invitation to all of Jessie’s friends to attend her funeral service at 2pm on Friday April 30, at St Pancras Cemetery in East Finchley.

Jessie, 16, whose death last month is the subject of an ongoing murder investigation, was a pupil at Maria Fidelis Convent School and had been living with her grandmother in the Bemerton estate, off Caledonian Road.

Her coffin will leave Kinross House, on the Bemerton Estate, just after 12.30pm.

Relatives are sifting through Jessie’s favourite songs in preparation for the funeral service.

Her aunt Sarah Lucraft said: “Any friends of Jessie’s are welcome. Thanks to all of Jessie’s family and friends for their support.”
